Day 274

Sunday Day 274 - Happy Halloween!

Day 273

Saturday  Day 273  - Today we celebrated Tim's parents 50th wedding anniversary at Citizen Kanes.  This was the first time I've eaten there and it was fabulous!  I highly recommend it!  The chocolate cake is to die for!

Day 272

Friday Day 272 - Tucker is ready for halloween!

Day 271

Thursday Day 271 - There was frost on the pumpkins this morning and the birds were chirping like crazy.  Time to get the feeders ready.

Day 270

Wednesday Day 270 - The Holly bushes are beginning to sport their berries already.  Reminds me a little bit of Christmas.

Day 269

Tuesday Day 269 - We should all thank Hannah for bringing home two very annoying doggie toys today.  This one is Tucker's favorite.

Day 268

Any guess on when this photo was taken?  Would you have guessed at 7 a.m. this morning?  Me neither but I did.

Day 267

Sunday - Isn't it said that the animals know when the weather is about to change?  The birds must have known something was up today because I have never seen so many birds flying around the house and I'm not feeding them!  This robin, along with several others, perched in the pear tree where I could still get a good look at him.  The blue jays and woodpeckers were out and about today too.

Day 266

Saturday - Finally....the trees are not the dreary brown I've been seeing lately. I swear this tree changed color overnight!

Day 265

I thought I'd take a photo of the white puffy clouds this morning because after tonight, we most likely won't see blue skies for a few days.

Day 268

Thursday - I was excited to see my new business cards come in the mail today.  I created them using Heritage Makers deck of playing cards.  How cool is that?!

Day 267

Well, the leaves are wanting to change color on this cherry tree.  Unfortunately, it better decide to do it quickly because we are expecting days of rain this weekend and when it's all said and done, this tree won't have a leaf left to change!

Day 266

Yes I know, he looks so sweet and innocent.  Today he brought me a mole.  Yes, I said a mole.  I actually think Kolby snatched it out of the ground, but Tucker is the one that loves to play with it and toss it in the air like it's a tennis ball.

Day 265

Monday - This is the bottom of a pine cone. We have a few left over from last year that we used as fire starters.

Monday, October 18, 2010

Day 264

Day 264- Sunday - Today was my neice Samantha's baby shower.

Day 263

Day 263 -Saturday - YES!  Finally a tree that still has its' leaves and they are red!

Day 262

Day 262 -Friday - The sun is setting and this cherry tree has but a few leaves and berries left for the birds.  A sure sign that winter will be here before you know it.

Day 261

Day 261 - Thursday - Candy Corn anyone?  It's almost time for Halloween and yes, I've purchased by candy already.  Now I just have to keep from eating it before the kids arrive!

Day 260

Day 260 Wednesday - Today was not a very exciting day in my photography world.  However, when I saw this plan cross the sky I wondered where it might be headed.  How I wish I was on it headed to the islands or even to the Valley where I could wash away all my work worries with a glass of Chardonney!

Day 259

Birch leaves don't change colors I guess.  Except to brown.  No reds or yellows here either.

Day 258

Day 258 Monday - The "experts" keeping telling us we are near peak for fall foilage.  Well, my yard isn't showing it.  I found only one red leaf on our tree today.

Day 252 - 257

Sunday, Day 257 - This is another one of Tim's new toys.  This one is a lot more comfortable for me.  We rode out 94 and DD.  Can't wait to do that drive when all the trees has changed into their fall color.

Saturday Day 256 - Can't do an updated photo of Tucker and not do one of Kolby.

Friday Day 255 - Thought I would do a new photograph of Tucker since it seems he keeps getting bigger day by day.  He's still a holy terror.

Thursday Day 254 - You know it's getting to be fall when the ornamental grasses begin to show their "wheat tassles".

Wednesday Day 253 - I thought this was too funny. On the other side of the fence is another pup. Not sure who the pup belongs to, but Tucker and Kolby seem to know that he doesn't belong to any of our neighbors. They stood like this for a long while.

Tuesday Day 252 - It appears someone was playing with my camera again. I'm guessing Hannah. She was home from college today since we had a funeral to attend too. At least one of us was able to take a photo. We unfortunately had to make an ER trip Monday night and I've been scattered brained ever since.

Day 251

My daisy bush has finally bloomed.  However, Tucker has run through it so many times, it's not looking it's best.

Day 250

Sunday - It's official.  After months of looking, last week we became official lake property owners.  Today we drove to Indian Hills Lake in Cuba, MO to walk the property as it's new owners and met our neighbors in the process.  This view will be approximately where our patio will be located.  The property is on a steep slope but with a few retaining walls and landscaping, the steps leading to the soon-to-be dock will be a short jaunt.  I'm sure in the coming months, you will see more lake photos in my blog.

Day 249

Saturday - This is another Hibiscus flower in Wic's yard.  Wic will be so happy when his parents come home!

Day 248

I'm finding interesting things to photograph at Wic's house.  This is the top of a cactus.
